Effective October 23, 2026. Game the Sky (“we”, “us”) is an independent studio. These terms cover gamethesky.com and every Game the Sky game. By playing, signing in or publishing anything, you agree to them, and to our Content Policy. Our Privacy Policy says what we do with your data.
Every game is free, all of it. There's nothing to buy, nothing locked and no ads.
Some pages have a “Buy me a coffee” link. A tip there is a voluntary gift to the maker. It isn't a purchase: it buys nothing, unlocks nothing and gets you no special treatment. It isn't a charitable donation either: Game the Sky isn't a charity, and a tip isn't tax-deductible. Tips are handled by Stripe under its own terms, and we don't refund them.
Most games play without signing in. To save runs, publish games or rank on a board, you sign in with your own Bluesky (AT Protocol) account. We never make accounts or passwords of our own, so you need a Bluesky account, and Bluesky's own age and account rules apply to you (currently, you must be at least 13). The games are for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. Some games are satire with cartoon violence; play the ones that suit you.
You're responsible for what's done with your account. Only sign in as yourself.
The games you make, the runs you save, and the photos, pictures and sounds you add belong to you (or to whoever owned them before). When you publish or save one, it goes into your own Bluesky repo as a record, not onto our servers. You can delete it from there whenever you like.
Some of it is public by design: a record in a Bluesky repo can be read by anyone, and a published game, its cast and its pictures can be seen by everyone who plays it.
When you publish or save something in one of our games, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, display, play back, re-render and share it, as part of the games and in showing them off: share cards and link previews, galleries, boards, replays, the announcements our @gamethesky.com account posts about new games, and screenshots or videos of the games. Other players get the same license to play, replay and remix it within the games, with credit to you.
The license lasts as long as the record is in your repo. When you delete it, we stop using it, apart from copies already cached or shared that take a while to age out (our Privacy Policy says how long) and posts or videos already made.
Only add what you have the right to use: your own photos, pictures and sounds, or ones you have permission for. Above all, only put a real person in a game if they've said yes, and never a child in anything violent or adult. The Content Policy has the details, and it's part of these terms. If someone tells us you've used their work without permission, we follow our copyright process.
Boards rank runs our servers have replayed from your inputs. Don't submit automated, tool-assisted or doctored runs, exploit bugs for a ranking, or flood our servers. We may remove runs, reset boards and keep an account off them. Casual play is never affected.
We can hide, unlist or stop showing anything in our games (a game, a run, a cast, a picture, a sound, a handle on a board), and keep an account out of galleries, boards or announcements, at any time, for breaking these terms or the Content Policy, or for any other reason we think is right. We can't delete things from your repo; we can stop showing them. We may also change or end a game or a feature.
The games themselves (the code, art, music and names) are ours or our licensors'. You can play them, share links and screenshots, and use the press kit on gamethesky.com. Don't copy the games, scrape them or pass them off as your own.
